The Calm After the Storm - Page 10 Empty Re: The Calm After the Storm

Post by Sharaku Mon Jun 05, 2017 10:36 pm

‘’Just wondering, is all.’’ He only really thought of that because the other obviously didn’t have much of a use for them besides keeping some in stock, and it brought about the question of whether the guy really bothered to always just toss out the old and buy some new. It’s kinda a waste if you ain’t using any of it, no?

On the note of wonders, he would just huff at the next two comments that came. ‘’Whatever. It doesn’t really matter right now. Do they have the proportions written on the box or something? If so, you could just show me that later. Sounds simpler than bothering with tries now.’’ He should be able to tell approximately if there was info on the package, but he wasn’t really certain if they put that there commonly. It wasn’t like he was buying condoms left and right, obviously. He honestly had absolutely no use for them until now.

He would snort at the vague answer he received, blinking at the other a bit as he watched the guy lean over him. To be honest, he didn’t really mind the idea of more closeness, but perhaps it could be a bit smooshy in their current positioning. It was a little tricky. After all, he wouldn’t want the guy to just lay on him flat with his entire weight. ''How flattering...'' He would give a low hum when the demon decided to focus on his chest again, a little absentminded for the moment. He wasn’t sure what he wanted to do, to be honest. There wasn’t a whole lot he even could while lying on his back like this. At best he could balance on one arm and use the other (or both if he didn’t keep propping himself up), but he wasn’t going to reach anywhere significant, considering that the other had to be lower to be able to have his face in his chest. Hmmm…

Failed joke. Ah well. The demon would just watch the other a bit with an amused smirk as he gave a light nod of acknowledgement to what was said rather speak. He just didn't have anything to add to that, so he kept his silence until the next topic came up.

"You're welcome to explore the box later. The box itself can give you some hints, but to be honest you kind of have to try it on to see if it works for you or not." it was almost like shoes if one thought about. They came in various sizes, but everything from the way it was made to what it was made out of could play various factors in a choice. Same could be said of the item in topic. How well it worked was up to one trying to wear it. That aside, he could agree that they mattered little in the current field they were on.

The demon could hear sounds and took note of reactions to certain things and while it was true he had messed with the guy's chest a bit, he didn't make it his focus as he moved a bit so that he could reach downward easier and in turn resume stroking the stick with various pressures for the time being as he hummed a bit.

‘’Well it should. It’d be kind of a waste if the only way to know anything was to try. There are many kinds…who can expect one to buy one box of each just to test everything?’’ Well yes, trying it helped with the final touches, but this wasn’t all that similar to shoes in that regard. Shoes you can try on at the store and just buy the ones that fit. Condoms aren’t something you can just leisurely sample and then buy the best box. You don’t know for sure until you’ve already bought it. And it would be seriously painful to have to toss a lot of money on testing…. ‘’And that’s all I could do anyway. Not like I’ll be able to try it later.’’ Unless shenanigans….

‘’Mmn.’’ He would let the other do his thing for a while, tipping his head backwards a bit. Though, as nice as this was, he kind of wanted to do something besides lying about too. He’s done a lot of that by now, and it was getting a little stale. He didn’t think the demon planned to make this quick for him either, so that would be a long time of chilling for him. Meaning…time for a change of pace. Shifting himself back up on his hands again, this time he would try to sit up completely to free up his arms (while making sure he didn’t knock into the other of course). Once he did that, he would put his hands on the guy’s shoulders with a faint mumble. ‘’Roll over a bit…’’ Based on the slight pressure he was putting onto the other with his arms, it could be assumed that he wanted the demon to move off and lay down beside him….

The Calm After the Storm - Page 10 Empty Re: The Calm After the Storm

Post by Rika Tue Jun 06, 2017 12:12 am

"That would be more than a waste of time if you tried to be insane and do that. It is kind of dumb, but generally the ones I have can fit most guy and if you're too big or what have you, you can always move up a size so there is that." Okay no. You could not try them on like shoes and thank the heavens for that, but that wasn't even the point. The point was size, materials and what made one feel most comfortable when it came to these things is all. Thus sometimes it was trial and error depending on the person. "Well, your're welcome to do what you like in that regards." If the other wanted to try one on just for the sake of trying it by all means he could...though perhaps the demon and the other were on far different pages with that matter, so for now the demon would let the topic go where it would before becoming somewhat quiet as he did what he did. He tried to remain vocal enough though with purrs or hums so the other would know that he was still engaged. Though one had to wonder how long this would last.

He didn't want to over do it and he didn't want to bore the other either by being to repetitive, but what could he do to spice things up? On top of that he wonder how long he could give before wearing out. Strange questions that he acknowledge was there, but didn’t let them interfere with trying to keep the other pleased. In fact, he was just about to try something else when the other moved knocking him off track a bit as he released the other so that he could 1) balance himself and 2) so he could shift also. As nice as it was to be close and all unnecessary or uncomfortable bumping was never a pleasant affair, so to avoid that he moved with the other as he sat up. The demon partially sat up as before pausing as the other grab his shoulders and gave him a command of a sort as he applied pressure to him.

“Okay,” he would say, but unlike some that might just roll over completely without issue, the other might notice a light resistance at first before the demon allowed himself to go in the direction of the other’s push coming to a rest on his side as he watched the other curiously. While he was not on his back, if the other paid attention could see that well his own extra leg was semi-harden perhaps due to nerves or something else. It didn’t mean the demon wasn’t enjoying himself or even that he was against what would happen next as could be seen by his open curiosity of what the other just had planned here.

The Calm After the Storm - Page 10 Empty Re: The Calm After the Storm

Hmmm? ‘’Well, you were the one saying how trying them on was important.’’ There were general sizes yes, but even in that department, it could vary quite a bit depending on what brand you were eyeing. And if it was about the material and all those side shenanigans….well, that still meant you’d have to try it first, no? So then, what to do, waste some time/money or just grab one from two most likely to fit sizes and be done with it if either fit decently enough? It’s either or. Unless you try to be adventurous and go for a new choice each time…buuut, that would be assuming you get laid often enough to actually burn through boxes at a decent pace. Hmm, who does that? As for the second statement, he would just shrug. The only reason he said that was because the demon was implying that trying it on was a better way than just checking out the box…but the initial reason why he asked about the box was exactly because later he wouldn’t have a way to check. Unless they went for round 2 or something.

Anyway moving on…to be honest, he kind of didn’t really require the other to be making noises just to make it seem better. It wasn’t like he wanted to pretend he was actually doing something to engage the other in this, so he wouldn’t see quietness as a big issue when all the demon was doing was touching him fairly simply. He wasn’t going to complain about it though, if it was something the guy wanted to be doing. That would become somewhat irrelevant once he went and switched up what was going on though, so that was that.

Speaking of which, he would hum faintly as the other chose to comply with the request, rolling over to his side as well to face the guy, taking a small break to give the other a look over thoughtfully. It would only last him for a short while though, before he shifted to move close. Wrapping one arm around the guy’s back, he would pull the demon flush against himself so that they were more or less hip to hip as he craned his neck a bit to nip at one of the demon’s ears a bit.

The Calm After the Storm - Page 10 Empty Re: The Calm After the Storm

Post by Rika Tue Jun 06, 2017 7:14 am

"Because it kind of is, but at the same time it isn't Shoe Carnival or something. Just saying it helps when it is the right fit." And it did. Nothing worse than discomfort, something that came off, or decided to bust, right?

That aside things would move on elsewhere. It was true the demon did indeed make sounds to let his partner know things, but at the same time he did it because he honestly wasn't the quy wasn't the quietest person when it came to these things. Still as long as the other wasn't complaining about that or what he was doing, then demon was fine attempting things.

Speaking of things, it seemed that things took a rather unexpected turn when he complied with other's request. When the taller male laid down and seemed to watch him, Rika would give him a small smile and questioning look; however, before he could think to move to do something like stroke his cheek, the guy moved in closer, wrapped his arm around him, and took him completely off guard when he was suddenly pressed against the other. The sensation was odd, yet pleasurable the demon humming a bit as his arms moved to wrap around the other until that nip came.

Whether he wanted to stop or not, the ear would twitch as his embrace tightened slightly on the other as that small hum from earlier became slightly more trembely with the slight shiver that ran down his spine because of that small action.

‘’So it isn’t. But if you aren’t lucky, it could take at least a couple tries to get there anyway.’’ One can never know when it comes to these things. All you have to contend with is what is showcased on the box until you buy it and actually see for yourself. That can surely lead to unplanned misses here and there.

At any rate…yes, the two of them were kind of on opposite ends there. He was hardly loud when it came to these things, at least in the majority of situations (everyone has their moments after all), while the other was the other way around. Perhaps the demon could compensate for both of them then? Albeit, maybe this was good anyway. Too much loudness would probably be distracting, and even grate someone’s ears. At least they had some balance going there.

Woo, time for squishing again. Although, this time he had kind of expected that already, so he didn’t have a problem with it. If he had, then he would have likely reconsidered his whole move before choosing to do it. It wasn’t like he was just casually forgetting what happened before when deciding what to do next. Well, when he was paying attention, that is. Nevertheless, this would become a repeat of last time for a while, as he did some nipping and licking on the other’s ear. He kind of wanted to see how well he could get the guy in the mood, and where it would lead. Seeing as the first time ended kind of abruptly with them moving on elsewhere instead. This time though, he would take to tracing the fingers of his hand which was around the other down the demon’s spine a bit on top of it all. Hmm, let’s see….

The Calm After the Storm - Page 10 Empty Re: The Calm After the Storm

“True.” That was all the demon had to say in response that comment since he felt trying to say more would just cause them to go in a circle and while fascinating going in a circle of the subject on the table? Well that would be a bit sad to be honest. Discussions were fine and all, but they weren’t here to talk forever about that now were they? Or if they were then no one gave him the memo so sorry, but not sorry for cutting it short there. Besides there were more interesting things on the table than covers. Like what was currently occurring.

Yes, the demon was “noisy” per se when it came to doing things, but he wasn’t a screamer, his way much more softer or strange depending on what one was use to. Speaking of strange, it was a wonder he did not crush the other considering they were already smooshed together, the demon unable to avoid feeling things that went on and vice versa. When the other began to mess with his ear, the demon respond much like last time as his eyes closed and he hummed a bit as his head tilted a bit to let the other have even easier access to the ear. It felt good and already had his body reacting on instinct perhaps as he held onto the other. And when the other did what he did to his back? The demon’s body would tremble a bit as he arced back a bit as his fingers dug a bit into the other, though not in harmful way thankfully. Despite what was happening the demon was seemed to be aware of the other in some sense.

Well, if the other did crush him, then this would have had quite the sad ending, wouldn’t it? He wasn’t made of glass though, so he could take a bit at least. Hopefully, it wouldn’t go too far, since he had his limit too. Besides, even if it did not cause real problems, it could still get uncomfortable and thus mess with things.

Admittedly, the digging wasn’t the most awesome feeling in the world either, but it wasn’t bad enough for him to not be able to ignore it for the time being. He was okay with some pain, yes, but not all kinds of extra pressure and all were actually pleasant on top of being in the tolerable area. Nevertheless, he would keep doing what he was for a while longer, his hand exploring the other’s back as much as he could reach comfortably. As entertaining as it was however, it would get boring if he just did one thing in a loop forever…even if it was seemingly a good strategy. He could probably get quite far with this only, but that would make it all quite rushed and all. Deciding to give the other a breather for a bit, he would eventually pull back a little, moving his hand under the demon’s chin in an attempt to tilt him up slightly for a kiss. Assuming there were no protests, of course.

The Calm After the Storm - Page 10 Empty Re: The Calm After the Storm

Post by Rika Tue Jun 06, 2017 7:36 pm

It would've been tragic in more ways than one could count if the other were to be squashed to death; however, the demon wasn't trying to hurt the other intentionally despite his body's reaction to what was happening. While initially he did dig into the other a bit thankful despite the shivers and arcing the combination caused the demon to do, the demon's finger's didn't dig deeper as he moved his body a bit with the strokes. He would do this for a while before leaning back into the other with his eyes closed tight, his hands sliding downward to squeeze the other's ass a bit. This was indeed a powerful combination the other did; however, that alone wouldn't get him across the bridge.

If done too much it could wear out fast and two it could actually cause him uncomfortable pain if his body remained strained in such a way for too long. So as much as he enjoyed it and for the time being didn't resist, it was a welcome relief that the other at least stopped before he had to make him do so.

When the other moved away a bit the demon's body which had been taunt before would relax a bit as his eyes opened a bit to look at the other. He was clearly in a daze as his breathing remained a bit quicker than before. Almost like a short run had occurred for him, but nothing over the top or bothersome. It was just an end result of being pulled a bit from a high. He didn't resist the other tilting his head upward and in fact would move to meet him half way as his hands moved to the other's back again and even found themselves in the other's hair once more as their lips met once again...

The Calm After the Storm - Page 10 Empty Re: The Calm After the Storm

Post by Sharaku Tue Jun 06, 2017 8:00 pm

At the very least, everything seemed to be going smoothly enough there, despite the possible dangers of squeezes looming on the horizon somewhere. Having the other grab at his butt did almost make him jump a little out of surprise, as that was somewhat unexpected, but he would manage to shake it off without having to interrupt things abruptly. It wasn't like it felt bad anyhow. Just that it came slightly out of the blue there, seeing as it was more likely for the other to keep his hands higher than that. At least, that's what he would normally expect. Then again, surprises keep things from getting too boring, right?

Fun. In any case, he would hum faintly when the other stuck his hands in his hair instead, leaning into the kiss a bit more as he flicked his tongue against the demon's lips lightly. Moving his arm around the other once again, he would settle it around the guy's lower back for the time being as he shifted slightly, pressing his hips against the other more firmly, probably trying to get some extra friction.

To the whole butt grabbing the demon felt the other move a bit, but for the most part it wasn't disturbing enough to break the flow. A flow that seemed to transition well enough into the kissing scene too.

The demon would feel the other's tongue against his lips and in response open his mouth a bit to let the other in if he wanted to go that route and when the other shifted to press against him, the demon would release a hum in response, his own body moving a bit to move against the other's as one hand took to playing in the other's hair a bit and the other slid down his back slightly both for support and to keep himself comfortable, but also perhaps even to bring pleasure to the other in some fashion if that worked.

''Mmm...'' He took note that the other opened his mouth, but didn't appear to be trying to go too deep with that. He did keep using his tongue a bit here and there, though most of his focus remained on the other's lips anyway. For a while at least. Eventually he would pull his head back a bit, just blinking at the demon slightly. He wasn't pulling away otherwise, letting the other play with his hair or do whatever still if he wanted to, but he seemed to be taking a momentary break there. Besides, as great as it all was, they did need to check in with each other too, right?

The demon didn't mind the other not taking his offer when he parted his lips, easily enough adapting to match the other's speed or what he was doing when it came to kissing. He enjoyed the play and despite it all seemed to be mostly in sync with the other by the end for when the guy decided to take a breather, the demon would do the same.

He wouldn't move out of the other's embrace though he only shifted slightly to move his left leg to rest on top of the other's leg for now to relieve some discomfort that had occurred from perhaps just having it turned the wrong way. Either way he wasn't trying to hold the other down or box him in with this as he stroked the other's hair a bit as he looked up at him with a semi-dazed smile.

"Mmm. Sup?"
he ask his voice soft and quiet, kind of like the tone someone half-sleep would use, but he was far away from sleepy as red orbs took to observing the details of the other's face for now. Hmm yes, a break and check in was nice here and there, so he didn't mind it at all. After all too much of a good thing could be bad and dangerous you know?

He would just make a slight hmph sound there, rather than offering any solid answer. He had nothing interesting to say to that, to be honest. It wasn't like the other didn't know what was up, pretty much, and he hardly had some breathtaking hidden news to report there. He would just narrow his eyes slightly as he stared back for the time being. That said...he didn't mind a break, otherwise he wouldn't be doing this, but to say it had something to do with things being bad when done too much was a bit out there. Well, guess it depended on what said thing was, as in some cases it was beneficial to pull away and catch one's breath maybe, but generally speaking he sure didn't mind some intensity. It's not like it would break him after all.

Intensity was indeed a thing and something the demon could handle if done right. He wasn't against that, but rather other things that became uncomfortable or painful if handled wrong or used excessively. Though he didn't find himself particularly worried in this department since despite being the first time, the other seemed to have a good sense of timing, so there was that. Anyway...

No true answer, eh? Well maybe if things were different he might've complained depending on what was happening, but in this case? Not really. He didn't mind a bit of mystery or just silence for a moment's rest. Despite his question, he wasn't really aiming for huge discussions. If they chatted too long, it could bring down the mood depending on the subject and that would be a sad thing to be honest. So the demon took to watching the other for the moment as his hands remained in his hair, his mind wondering what the other was thinking, but not daring to ask for now. After all, it wouldn't be much fun if all surprises were ruined.

Nope, no answer. He could have tried maybe, but he wasn't feeling the idea of coming up with something random just to say it. Not right now. That would only be a distraction. Certain types of talk could be good for this, but obviously not anything and everything. He would stay still for a moment, but not for too long as he eventually gave a low huff, rolling over onto his back. He wasn't really thinking about too much, to be honest. He gave it a small pause, yes, but it wasn't for the purpose of some philosophic thinking or such.

Rika was quit fine until the other moved away from him and decided to rest on his back. Boo. He was enjoying the closeness, but he supposed they couldn't stay stuck together forever. That would just be odd in general. Still that did not change the fact the guy had accomplished what he was after, the demon was in the mood and so wanted a bit more. Though unlike before where the demon would hesitate for a long period of time before starting, this pause between them was indeed short lived as the demon sat up a bit and moved over to the other.

Shifting a bit the demon would position himself so that for now the top half of him was over the other for now, his eyes briefly watching the other before he went for his lips again for now.

The Calm After the Storm - Page 10 Empty Re: The Calm After the Storm

Post by Sharaku Wed Jun 07, 2017 11:06 am

‘A bit more’, eh? Well, maybe that’s where they differed. He wasn’t always satisfied with just a bit on top. Regardless, he wouldn’t protest the kiss from the other and while he would kind of keep up with whatever the demon decided to do there, he did seem to be zoning off at least a bit. It wasn’t that he was necessarily bored by this, but he was certainly having trouble figuring out how to make this work better. It was just…one way or another, things were a little off. Yes, he could always let the guy do the stuff like it was originally before he rolled them over, but then he was getting kind of restless and wanted to do something too unless the other somehow got him seriously into it, which was hard with all these pauses and mild moves. If he did flip it though, he ended up not really getting any himself. While some tight hugging and such was nice, it wasn’t the greatest ever for him. Some things were just…there when not coupled with more interesting stuff. Such as the hair plays. He liked that alright, but it was something he would probably prefer when just relaxing around or such. He could honestly sleep through that if he tried enough. It was lose-lose either way, more or less.

At this rate, he kind of had to question whether he’d get anywhere. He did enjoy some bits of this, yes, but that wasn’t nearly enough. The little pauses for talk, or most recently the stare off that happened which tended to get prolonged more than necessary in most cases only helped in shooting him down. The demon would have a lot of hard work ahead of himself if he wanted to actually accomplish getting him off with this combination of pacing and approaches. He’d be much better off by himself compared to this. Of course, he knew he couldn’t expect the guy to just know what to do right away and all, but that didn’t change the fact that this was a bit of a pain. Maybe it was just him not being pleased by every simple thing though…the other seemed to be having enough fun apparently.

‘’…..’’

Why did this have to be so hard?

The Calm After the Storm - Page 10 Empty Re: The Calm After the Storm

This was indeed tricky territory even more so when the other with him was hard to read and more often than not stuck to silences versus actually saying what was on his mind. The demon couldn’t mind read and while he had tried to pry for direction and offered games in the past, the other’s “just try it” attitude while interesting also lead to some difficulties. After all, while he could discover some things that could pleasure the other that did not change the fact that he and the other were different and may even have different requirements to get the spots they wanted to be in.

Perhaps it were these difference that created a divide between them. Yes the demon was subtle and mild, but unless told or shown how to treat another he wouldn’t know any better than what he knew. So while he did try his best it would seem that he was losing the other and that. While the other didn’t resist the kiss, the demon kind of felt that they were not on the same wave here and that is was caused him to stop as he pulled back a bit and looked down at the other. He was quiet for a moment as red eyes simply observed the taller male for a bit and then quite unusual for him, he would move off the other, placing a bit of space between them as he he settled on his stomach again.

Resting his head on his arms, he would speak eventually speak into the silence: “What’s up?” he would ask in a calm, yet serious manner. He may have not been good at what he did, but he wasn’t dumb either. He knew when things were not working or something was wrong. And there was indeed something wrong here, but what was wrong was an unknown for now.

That probably wasn’t going to change much. He liked to take some time to think before saying something when it was an important enough topic, so yes, he had his silences and likely always would in a way. On top of that, he wasn’t necessarily super interested in pushing people around left and right which meant he tended to not be keen on straight up telling someone what they should be doing. He kind of didn’t want them to be doing it just because he said so, though on the other hand, not saying anything didn’t seem to be working too well either. Maybe he had expected the other to be more adventurous/quick with his tries? It could be hard to tell at times.

Still, it was odd territory one way or another. Yes, he could say more on the matter…but the other seemed to be enjoying himself enough this way, so would telling the guy to do it a different way really help things, or would it just flip this situation around for them? It wouldn’t be any better if the demon ended up being the one with complaints instead.

That said, he would blink up at the ceiling silently when the other decided to pick himself up and move off once again. With another question being thrown his way, he would sigh as he closed his eyes. ‘’Just busy trying to decide whether this is going somewhere.’’, he would snort faintly. These continuous ups and downs seemed to succeed at getting him a bit moody if nothing else…as much as that was probably not the desired result.

The Calm After the Storm - Page 10 Empty Re: The Calm After the Storm

Thinking and silences were fine to a degree, but that did not change the fact that when there was a disconnected that open communication was sometimes needed to solve an issue. Even more so if you were working with or had another person in your life or had two people with such vastly different views on things. Now to say Rika wasn’t adventurous or quick was a bit of a stretch. He could be those things and more, if he knew enough about who he was with to take those risks. This was not to say he wasn’t willing to take a plunge every now and then, but he did do better with at least either hearing how one wanted to be treated or shown how to do what you wanted.

By nature he was gentle, subtle, teasing, and by all means one that took his time to explore things and while he knew this didn’t work for everyone, he didn’t expect it to end quite like this and honestly when it came to doing these things with the other, he often found himself unsure if what he did was right or wrong. For example, he took note that while he had done things simply the other either really respond much to him, but when he did things a bit out of his box, then the other would react in a bit stronger than before. He got from their last round about that the other was more on the intense side and while in the moment, he thought he had matched the other, but now found himself curious if it was really a success or not. He wasn’t sure just what was right and what wasn’t right in the areas. And to make matters worse pause seemed to get them to these strange grounds of waiting for the other to do something and then when they failed, the other side lost interest. It was a tricky affair and one that was a bit frustrating even more so when the other didn’t even give him a hint of what exactly was wrong.

Even so he kept his temper more or less in check as he asked his question and in turn heard the answer. To what he heard, the demon would stare ahead at the wall with a slight frown as his tails flicked a bit rest across his legs.

“Somewhere... I wonder,” the demon would begin sighing inwardly knowing he probably should say something, but not quite knowing how to. In the end, he just gave up and asked: “Alright. Tell me what did you think of what occurred? Did you like? Did you not? Do you want something changed? What?” Yes it was many questions and probably ones that would annoy the other, but honestly the demon was not afraid of backlash this round. If they were going to make this work they need to figure out what was happening and if something needed to be changed, then it could be fixed. Was it really wrong to ask for a little guidance here and there if everything else didn’t seem to work?

The Calm After the Storm - Page 10 Empty Re: The Calm After the Storm

Was he annoyed by the questions? Well, it was safe to say that he didn’t particularly enjoy just being barricaded with a load of questions out of nowhere. He had half the mind to be snappish at the other for wanting him to somehow answer and clear that up in one go. Was he supposed to give a long monologue there or something? He would click his tongue slightly. ‘’First of all, it would be nice if you slowed down the question vomit. I’d rather not have to have a long monologue just to try to answer everything at once.’’ Plus, was this a conversation or just some sort of interrogation? It’s not like he was making a confession here. He would sigh faintly.

‘’Anyway, like and dislike are too extreme in this case. I did not particularly dislike this, but I can say this…I’d have a better and easier time just by myself in the end. This is kind of only getting me up and down. I don’t think I can work well with too many pauses and too much chill, especially when I’m hardly even worked up enough to begin with. This is too inconsistent for me…it’s like…if you do a tiny bit and then either pause or go too subtle, you might as well just be starting nearly all over again after a while.’’ He couldn’t really keep his mood high up for too long unless he had something to hold him there or at least something exciting to look forward to. That’s not to say he didn’t for example enjoy teasing. However, for it to have good effect he had to already be worked up enough to feel the difference between going and stopping. Too early in the game it was just like ‘Oh, you drawing back already? I’m not even sure what should I be missing yet’. It was twice as hard in this case considering he didn’t even have an idea of what the other was capable of/willing to do. He didn’t have any idea about what should some teasing be getting him eager for at all. He wasn’t going to feel any different about not getting more of something unless he was at the point where he legitimately wanted to keep it going in the first place. If he could stop and not even feel too disappointed about it, then it was obviously not having the desired effect, was it now?

The Calm After the Storm - Page 10 Empty Re: The Calm After the Storm

Post by Rika Wed Jun 07, 2017 6:03 pm

The demon would look over at the other as he clicked his tongue and spoke. He took the complaint on questioning well enough finding the point fair enough. Perhaps it was a bit too much to try and get everything off his chest at once. He could work with that though and just learn to bite his tongue more or something along those line. Slow down a bit. Alright. Easy enough to swallow; however, the next part wasn’t as easy to swallow because...Rika. Just Rika. Hang on let me try to described this fucked up shit. Pardon the language, but seriously this is insanity at its finest.

Okay. So Rika knew from the past that he and the other had a particular hic-up that wasn’t exactly the other’s fault. Yes, his bluntness did not help matters, but when one really examined the problem, the root cause always circled back to Rika. He loved feedback. Craved at some points because he liked to grow and improve. When it was good he humbly nod to himself and felt good about, but when it was bad….it was sometimes really bad, especially when it came to the other. He believed he had at least 3 good strikes against him as it was if not more, the worst being the breakdown in the forest, the break down the last time they were together, and finally the actual physical strike after a blow out on what should’ve been a simple date. The point was every time they got together and tried to talk something negative out, Rika’s feelings and anxiety got the best of him and in turn made the situation worse than it should’ve been.

He hated himself greatly for this flaw that kept cropping up. Even now when he specifically asked for feedback, he couldn’t help, but feel this mixture of despair and rage as every negative thought about himself in this situation pretty much exploded within. He honestly wanted to hurt someone (mainly himself) right about now. It hurt and while the demon did not cry or yell or anything insane it could be seen quite easily as he sighed and closed his eyes his ears drooping a bit with the feelings. He could’ve made this hell and probably even ticked the other off, but there was one key difference here: he didn’t let it control him. He instead faced the issue head-on and acknowledge it. While he was quiet for a bit and seemed like he might just cry or snap at the other during this process, the demon would eventually crumble the negativity away and place it in the trash. His defeated look would change as he took a small breath and released it to steady himself before reopening his eyes and actually rolling over to the other’s side again. He’d rest on his side not touching the other for now as he studied him with an expression that was clear and calm.

“Sooo...Let me understand this. Even though I do not have the vaguest ideas of how to pleasure you to your standards, you’d prefer it to be more consistent and intense?”

The Calm After the Storm - Page 10 Empty Re: The Calm After the Storm

Post by Sharaku Wed Jun 07, 2017 6:34 pm

To be honest, the other was maybe kind of lucky. He obviously didn’t need to feel the need to keep this up and stay around the other with all those blow outs happening. And perhaps in a different kind of scenario, he wouldn’t have. After all, he didn’t particularly believe much in happy fairytales, and seeing as he hadn’t been with anyone else before, it’s not like he knew better anyway. Were he to have had a better experience before this ride, it would truly be a question whether he’d be interested in sticking it out through all that. It wasn’t like he was getting paid for all the hell, was he now?

‘’….I suppose that would be an improvement, yes.’’

He would answer with a sigh, crossing his arms over his chest as he looked off to the side in thought. To be honest, he was having a hard time convincing himself in the first place. This was just…different. Whether it was just him not being used to doing it with someone else or something beyond that, it simply wasn’t easy to be too optimistic about this. The problem was that he was normally just fine with making use of his own mind for this. If he really wanted to, he could technically imagine any kind of scenario without needing to go through the painstaking process of confirming whether reality could match that. Whether it would be his partner’s willingness to do it, or how good it would actually turn out to be that way. Sure, there was the idea of him being the one to do stuff, and while that was intriguing enough to consider, it wasn’t always enough to tip the scales there. Sometimes he felt like he was just a bit too self-absorbed by base or something…but it could honestly be so draining to work on accommodating and compromising with someone else…Hmm…Was he missing something…?
